If you had 24 hours to live what would you do?
A very popular question I haven't really pondered about real hard. Different people have different thoughts of spending their last days, depending on their personalities. Some might plan to rent 40 hot air balloons and orchestrate a jailbreak for all the oppressed giraffes, rhinos and elephants enslaved at the wild animal park, some might attempt to make love to everything that moves, some might even choose to sleep the entire day *cough* Boy2 *cough*. But me? I don't know, I guess I will take a trip to fiji or hawaii, surf all day until sunset... have a delicious dinner, a bottle of rum... stare up into the stars of the night sky - amaze myself in the wonder of the universe - then slip into my sleep...Either that or I'd go look for some miracle cure for my die-in-24-hour-diesese. ^^
After bouts of contemplation, I became more curious. I couldn't help but wonder, how would our answers change if the question was: If you--and the rest of the world--had 24 hours to live, what would you do

What a peacefully glorious day you'll live. Although it would be a great hassle for your family to bring your corpse back from Fiji.
How do you make love to an electric fan, though?
Amaze yourself in the wonder of the universe? The world has 24 hours to live? You sure do have foresight. Death and Dying will be a series (with this post being a prologue as stated). And though they won't be the exact questions, you can expect it to run parallel to those you asked.

Hello again ivanpaner (the author) and painraven (the blog). This topic left me in contemplative abyss. I can't continue writing my fourth post, since my mind is still in this one. Hence I felt the tendency to write my thoughts down. And instead of creating an entry of similar topic, I opted to just share my thoughts here. [sorry for the very long comment, i swear hindi na mauulit XD]
Amaze yourself in the wonder of the universe? I have spent nineteen years taking the universe for granted, whining about the things that are, and wishing for the things that aren't. And I think the Earth deserves to be appreciated even by us pessimists even for once at least during the last few hours, before we decay and become part of it
