You are a recent arrival -- your sources?

I've asked a variety of people I've spoken with how long they've been here, and the highest number I've gotten was about two years.

Are there any among these you would consider trustworthy?

Ah, it appears a dead end has revealed itself~

Have you learned anything of interest?

You are too eager to judge.

You have not?

Perhaps. Am I wrong?

I've had some trouble as of late~ The most I've learned is a few pieces about the trek to Dissumulo.

I did say 'scattered or incomplete', but not 'nonexistent'.

It is fortunate that the city's history is not all that is relevant or of use; or vice versa.

No one before Harry Mason. That was a little more than two years ago, I think.

Ah -- of the shotgun. [lolol]

Is he still in charge of Marshall?

No. He's been gone awhile now.

A pity; but I suppose it is to be expected.

I assume you mean the large sounds. They seem to be coming from a nearby apartment building. [He's feeling the exact same things, Zexion] I have not had the time to investigate.

If we are looking for more information about the beginnings of people living here, perhaps we should be looking for the longest living resident here.

According to the network, a resident fired some sort of weapon out of doors. A large sword -- approximately the size of the Sky Splitter, perhaps slightly bigger.

I am working with that premise, yes. We will see what comes of it.

So long as it is outside, there is nothing to question. Any noticable damages from your position?

I will see what I can find.

Is there anything I should know about before I return?

I did not see where the projectile landed. It will be easier to investigate in daylight.

Sometime today, all the doors seem to have gone missing, but I do not imagine that is a surprise.

Only two years? That seems rather short considering the scale of things.

[voice] pagesniffer December 9 2009, 23:51:29 UTC
That would depend upon what is meant by 'the scale of things'.

The city though not huge, is not small, the amount of people here is also quite numerous, if still a small number. The ability to make sure we stay in this city, and I assume we are monitored. There's also the matter of implanting those chips, and giving each one of us these devices. It's hard to believe they went to such numbers so quickly.

I would agree more readily if we had some idea of how long this was in the planning, the level and nature of technology or magic involved; the traffic on and off-world since I arrived leads me to believe the apparent rate of growth is not impossible.
