Its great to do a bit of decluttering...and esp in your condition it "feathering the nest" symdrome ;o)
Re your BC books...how about a book box.... You send it our (can usually get 20 books in a box for postage of around 8 quid) and then by the time it comes back to you in a few months time it'll be full of new books :o)
i would have done a book box ring, but the fact is i already have stack loads of tbr books sitting on my personal bookshelves and i havent been inclined to read anything yet, this year i have only read one book so far. and i have alot of other books waiting. so the bc books wont be for swap-arounds. i think him indoors is wanting to make a day trip to inverness sometime soon so i will have to go with him whether i want to or not as i am the driver lol. i will probably wild release some there.
I have the same problem with books, there are so much of them and there doesn't seem to be a nice way to get rid off them. And it feels bad that I can't have room to have them all here at home... I have tried to make it a habit to register one book to bookcrossing whenever I know I am travelling somewhere and then leave it in trains or such, but more often than not I just forget all about it with all the other things in my mind. Though this is a lovely town and I suppose I could leave the books in coffeeshops and such too, but then I can't think of wondering whether they'd just be thrown away at the end of the day. Welll, this might apply to transportation too, but somehow I have a better feeling about it...
Oh, and let's not go to the supply, clothes and other stuff I for some reason own that I should get rid off, siigh:)
so maybe, maybe, I should come up to you, since you came down to see me so often? I haven't been to scotland in ages anyway =D I can leave em on the tube or in places around London, could that work?

I, too, have been cleaning out again, but not because of any expected visitor. I'm out of the loop: when is "junior" coming??
