I found out a...well, not exactly friend, but an acquaintance of mine who works at the post office passed away recently from ovarian cancer. I had a bad feeling when I waited in line and saw a framed picture of her with the other cashiers. She was 46 and has a 6 year old kid and husband. I recently had a blood test done, since it was 6 months ago where I started taking meds for my elevated uric acid levels...and, thankfully, my levels have dropped 20 percent. Thing is, I got to keep taking the meds for the rest of my life. *sigh ( Read more... )
