Date night was phenomenal...so nice, and very needed. Definitely appreciate little breaks in the routine like that. And aside from the lovely time with the dear hubby, there's Olive Garden leftovers to take to work for lunch today ( Read more... )

best hubby in the world, kids!, real life, olive garden!

Glad the date went well. Breaking the routine is always very welcome, especially in a married life.

I've waited two years in between eye doctor's appontiments because of money problems but luckly had just a very small change in my prescription. I can see fine without them, but reading and using the computer leave me with a headache, so I just keep them on all the time and it was refreshing having a nice pair of newer glasses.

Yup. I'm hoping I can get my eyes checked this year too; I know they've changed some. Gotta luv the whole...getting older, the eyes go downhill thing. lol

Scratch that question in my last post. I'm glad to see that date night went well. So I'm guessing your batteries are recharged for a while now then.

I hope you're able to sort all of your eye appointments out sooner rather than later, but I sure know how it goes. The pennies never seem to stretch very far these days do they. Tax and everything else goes up but wages stay the same, ggrr.

*dances along* 'twas very nice, and then last night, MIL invited the girls over to spend the night, so even tho' we didn't go out or anything, it was a nice quiet night in with each other. :) That was nice too.
