Nearsightedness and other things...
Date night was phenomenal...so nice, and very needed. Definitely appreciate little breaks in the routine like that. And aside from the lovely time with the dear hubby, there's Olive Garden leftovers to take to work for lunch today. ;)
Took kiddo #2 to the eye doctor's today. Bless them for replacing her frames under warranty as they're still current frames. Prescription has changed; poor kid's as nearsighted or worse than I am, but because they gave her the free frames, I could spend a little more on the nicer lenses and get the thinner kind. Kiddo #1's eye appointment is set for a couple weeks from now; we'll see how hers goes before I decide to set one up for me. If I have to, I can wait a bit. One thing, as they say, at a time.
Caffeinating my brain and contemplating what to do with my day. Reading, writing, paper making? Maybe reading will get my vote today. We shall see.
In the meanwhile...time to start my thermos coffee; gotta leave for work in about 30-ish minutes give or take. Everybody have a good day. :D
