I find that more than four months into this I still laugh inappropriately at any mention of the red coats, the decline of the empire, and the "special relationship" with the US.

So glad not to be worrying about this anymore. Now, just to get through studying, exams, one visitor, one visit and one heinously long plane ride.

Can someone explain the man powered, bicycle-y, carriage-y transportation things that go by every night? They only come out after dark and I've never seen anyone in one.
