As has been widely reported, facebook did a massive revamp of its privacy settings recently. I don't know if this is part of the revamp or not, but I just discovered that it by default allows your friends' applications to view more or less your entire profile by default. So you would not guess what happened to my laptop Tuesday night. I frequently leave it overnight at work, since I use it for my research about 50% of the time.
