The "...Juliet just caused what she came to fix!!!" realization came about an hour after the episode ended. I felt very silly.

this is the only place I touch with a ten-foot pole ever anymore. Mostly because they're fairly spoiler free, and the reviewers that actually include things that might be spoilers warn heavily in advance. Also you can ignore the comments so easy. :D

...oh, wait, also some Entil. I love me some Entil. He's scarily accurate with 9/10s of his predictions.

Re point 1: Yeah, I think that would fit in with Lost's tendencies to go for the crushing anvil of irony. I also think that the fact that the Losties' actions this season seem to have caused things that we saw in earlier years, therefore creating a cycle, may tie in very much with what Jacob and the other man were saying at the beginning. Structurally anyway, if not literally. And because of the line about things only ending once, I do hope that that cycle, (as well as the larger one of the island being populated and people getting fucked over) might be able to be destroyed.

Anyway, either time has to change because of the bomb or SOMETHING else has to happen that changes things. Because we've seen Chang after he lost his arm. He didn't die.

But was Locke really nothing special, as Richie Ricardus would have us believe?

I am hoping Jack's line to Richard was more than just another bit of cruelty from the writers. (I have been waiting for SO MANY EPISODES for Locke and Jack to actually get on.)
