There is this epic AU in my head where Juliet was there from the start so it was fun to actually put a bit of that into words. Season one would have doubled it's awesomeness had it included our girl.

I don't think I'll ever be able to watch that scene again. My heart can't take that much angst. *sniffles*

Mmm, Juliet/Esau, an intriguing notion. I love her marking her own name off the wall, it's such a powerful image of her anger and emptiness.

Daaavidd! I think I might be a little in love with Bittersweet-Family-Jack/Juliet.

I love the ending one with Juliet on the plane, and those last two lines of dialogue are perfection. Nice work!

I have this weird fascination with Esau, so the idea that he could have hooked up with Juliet is kind of appealing to me for some reason. ;)

I loved iii, iv, and v. The idea of Juliet playing the "Gale" in Ben's place is so intriguing -- and the way you've written it is great: it makes me long for more of this scenario.

And this line in v was so fun: “Sure Boss, anything that doesn’t end in us exploding sounds awesome to me.” I can just hear Miles saying it. :)

I've always been intrigued by the idea of what might have happened if Juliet had been Gale. I think that's just me wishing she had shown up in season two though. ;)

Oh my gosh, this is an amazing fic! It's brilliant and it hurts like hell, but in the best way. Thank you so much for fixing canon in all of these ways for Juliet--the stories that you've presented here feel so much better and truer to her character than the little that we got in canon. I especially love how you preface each section with a quote from canon--you integrate her character as we know it so fully with each new situation; every single word and phrase feels so natural. And your writing style is as beautiful as it always is. The fourth section is my favorite, because oh my god, my heart!!--I just spent about ten minutes trying to pick a favorite line and couldn't bear to choose, that's how much I love it--but the rest are equally perfect. And then the end broke my heart and filled me with this incredible sense of peace at the same time. Guh, you're amazing. Thank you so much for writing this! Going to my memories, for sure!

Thank you so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I love playing the what if game with Juliet. There's just so many possibilities...I seriously had like four more AU that I cut because I didn't want the fic to go on forever. ;)

If season six did nothing else, it did manage to reignite my old love for Jack/Juliet. They were so good in season three, it felt nice to give them a proper chance to be together.
