I'm coming into a busy time now (when am I not?): Jillian graduates high school in less than one month! Gosh life is going to be very, very busy! Has Jillian decided what she is going to do when she has graduated?

Congrats on the awards - it is a such a beautifully written piece.

What a busy week you have had, too. I wonder if anywhere else in the world has bounty hunters, or if they are a specifically American thing?

Jillian's been accepted to Ball State University, where she's studying fashion design and the business of fashion. I'm hoping she'll get out just as the economy is swinging up again. :-)

I don't really know if there are bounty hunters elsewhere. Early America was a very wild place where a bounty hunter's help would have been welcomed in tracking down bad guys, especially out west, so I can see how it might originate here. But maybe they had them in Australia? Or, perhaps the concept came from a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away ... :-)

Yep -- she's planning to major in fashion design and minor in business as it relates to fashion; she's been accepted to Ball State for fall of this year!
