I'm really glad I was homeschooled. My local school district back home never got much money, and I'm not Catholic, so the private school wasn't an option because I didn't qualify for the scholarships. Most of my brothers and sisters were also homeschooled, though we all got the option to do otherwise.

My little brother who wasn't homeschooled has a few more friends but has also had a lot more trouble than those in the family who didn't go to public school. I never felt short-changed for social life or experiences - I got to choose more of my experiences, in fact.
