I was supposed to blog but I forgot.

Hi, I'm Jane, I'm in 325 in Astor, and I, too, am a religious farmgirl. Except it's a horsefarm and I got lucky in that my parents are uber-liberal type religious.

Hi Jane! Oh, HORSES. I always wanted to do more with horses. My great-grandma had a horse farm, but it went bust with my grandfather's death (my family can be bad with money, chip off the old block, alas). My family is probably a lot more conservative than yours, but I'm happy that they're not asking questions about my wearing skirts while I'm here and playing the modesty card. Seriously, I think they're relaxing in their old age, Mom and Dad are.

Nice to meet you too! I may drop by sometime to say hello.

I'd like that. I work at a stable, so I can get a bit of a discount, if you want to learn to ride. I'll even point out the ones to stay away from.

How are you on the activism front, anyway? Ever do any charity work?

Oh, lots. Our church women's group does an awful lot when it comes to food and clothing drives, and helping with education for employment, and sponsoring a local shelter...

We make our own fun. You know?
