I'm afraid a lot of this is cut and pasted from last year - I feel like I'm mad to sign up for yuletide, given that I couldn't even find time to write a proper new letter, but the very idea of not signing up for yuletide makes me too sad. It's also a bit of a placeholder: rough ideas only for my two 'new' fandoms, to be pondered over and fleshed ( Read more... )

Hey you!!! Awesome Judi Dench icon!!

I kept thinking I ought to make a proper post before this, so it wasn't a case of 'absent for months, back for yuletide'. But I only got this done because after tonight, there isn't a chance of me getting a post done before signups close, so I MADE time!

Also, how's the work going on your house? Still happy with it?

YAY, I'm so happy we're in it together!!! I'm excited for my assignment too; I made sure to offer things I felt really keen to write about.

My last exchange was last yuletide, so I'm SO RUSTY!!!

I saw Another Country about three weeks after it opened in the West End, with Rupert Everett and Kenneth Branagh. I miss my misspent youth.

That production really was a star-maker - the original cast was amazing. And yet, I actually think the cast of the version that was on at Chichester and London this year were even better, or, at the very least, certainly not inferior. And as a nice little twist, Julian Wadham, who played one of the boys in the original production (can't remember which one), played the uncle in this version.

Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii! :D I hope you get ALL the Captive Prince fic this year. And that it's all amazing! I didn't ask for it this year because there can be no topping last year, and I mean that. *g*

Aww, you're very kind! I've taken a look, and there are a lot of requests for Captive Prince (a few less offers than requests), so hopefully there should be a load of goodies for us all!

It's been so long since we've spoken! I miss you!!! Though if I read/responded to my flist more than once in a blue moon it would help!

I'm glad you're doing yuletide too. :-)

I miss you too!! I haven't been around as much, which I wish weren't the case, but it's hard to keep up with everything sometimes. It's one of the nice things about Yuletide, though, it brings us all out of the woodwork to reconnect! <3
