Dear Yuletide Author
I'm afraid a lot of this is cut and pasted from last year - I feel like I'm mad to sign up for yuletide, given that I couldn't even find time to write a proper new letter, but the very idea of not signing up for yuletide makes me too sad. It's also a bit of a placeholder: rough ideas only for my two 'new' fandoms, to be pondered over and fleshed

I miss you!! When I saw that you'd made a (relatively) recent post, I just had to stop in to say 'hi'. :) I miss fandom activity on LJ so much. The newer hotspots for fandom things -- Tumblr, Twitter, etc. -- just don't hold much appeal.
I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't finished reading Captive Prince. I was rolling right along, LOVING it, and then things got busy and I had to put it down for a bit. Now I feel like I need to start it again from the beginning!

ETA: Regarding missing fandom activity on LJ, I just found out that there's an HP fandom reunion going on here: http://hp-reunion.livejournal.com/ Of course, I would find it when it's almost over! I would love to see more fandom reunions like this on liverjournal. :)
