I am so tempted to go to this at the weekend, as I'll be in London anyway (though maybe not dressed appropriately).

They have events like shouting at foreigners, cucumber sandwich discus, umbrella jousting, butler baiting, swooning, the pipeathalon and ironing board surfing. Also refined refreshments (their words). The dress code is elegant ( Read more... )

Swooning as competitive sport! SHOUTING AT FOREIGNERS! This whole thing sounds amaaaaaazing. Oh, to be across the pond so I could attend. Sigh.

Johnny Rotten and Louise Mensch - and it was pretty cringemaking, especially when they were talking about taking drugs, Alas, he never uttered "I could be wrong, I could be right", which would have made up for A LOT...

I took a look, and posted at the Indeed Sir! Jeeves and Wooster comm. If there is anybody who can appreciate a pressed crease, it's the Jeeves and Wooster fans =)

Grammatical errors stand alongside denim trousers - I fear you might have been refused admitance on that basis alone! ;)

You've reminded me that I haven't taken a look at indeedsir in a while now - they often have some fabulous artwork.

Oh, you should see the steamy, hot, not safe for work of a living artist who does stuff in that style and was just recently shared on indeed sir. I recommend 'Hood Ornaments'
