I'd really, really love to be able to write a caper fic, because Neal and Peter are so awesome together, but I have no skills at planning a con/heist/caper. Years of expensive education, and I still lack the skills I really want!

I am so with you on the caper fic -- I would love to write it (in a number of fandoms, really; I love capers!) but that's not something I have any skill in, either! All those years of grad school, and what are they good for, really.

I spent ages once trying to work out a good con - did all sorts of research - but it was a flop. I just couldn't do it. Most disappointing.

And yeah, so many fandoms for them: White Collar, Leverage, Ocean's 11, and then there's always tempting AUs for a bunch of other fandoms. We need a fannish workshop on how to write a good con.

(While I'm here, if you're reading hockey fic right now, stop it, and get back to your yuletide fic!)

Aww, thank you! I actually succombed to the charms of White Collar a few minutes into the pilot! I just haven't had any fic ideas for some reason, so it was nice to get some White Collar prompts in the Advent Calendar.

Hee, way cute!! I love neal's little flash of possessiveness after the kiss. Hmm, I've never read much from the fandom (and stopped watching after like, three eps) but this is making me want more Peter/Neal :O

Oh, I love those two so much - the second and third episodes were a wee bit disappointing, I thought, after the glory of the pilot, but then it picked up, and I loved it unreservedly. You should try it again!
