There should be a collective noun for a collection of yuletide posts

Read my yuletide assignment last night, started making notes this morning, and I've somehow written just under 1,000 words on it so far this evening. If it keeps falling into place like this, I'll be a very happy yuletider.

In other news, just two more days left before the 'official' end of the Fall Fandom Free-For-All (2009). Though as it's a gift- ( Read more... )

I shouldn't be feeling so smug about it really, but it's just such a good feeling! Though I really need to do some source research before I write much more - I didn't actually mean to write more than a couple of lines of dialogue, but I sort of just kept going...

It's a lovely feeling when a story starts writing itself - give it a go tonight, and here's hoping it works for you too!

It's something I'm really excited to write! I've had to hold off writing much more today, though, as I need to do more research first, and I'm itching to keep going!

Congrats on the Yuletide smoothness! Also, huge thanks for organising the Free-For-All. I've only been involved in fandom this year and I really enjoyed participating.

I'm so glad you've been enjoying the Free-For-All - I feel a bit bad that I haven't done as much with it this year as I did last, but it seems to have gone well anyway.

400 is 400 more than most people I imagine! A lot of people leave it really last minute, so well done you!

I've got one more story I want to finish for the FFFFA, but it just hasn't worked out the way I hoped, so I'm not going to finish it time. But late is still fine, thankfully, for both our things!

I did a really last minute pinch hit in something under two days once, but I wouldn't recommend it! So nine hours... no! *g*

I'd like to run another FFFFA next year - I managed to keep it fairly low maintenance this year (mostly by resisting the temptation to leave reminders to all the people who asked for things but didn't offer anything, and by not doing a masterlist), but it's always good to know there's help available - thanks!
