There should be a collective noun for a collection of yuletide posts

Read my yuletide assignment last night, started making notes this morning, and I've somehow written just under 1,000 words on it so far this evening. If it keeps falling into place like this, I'll be a very happy yuletider.

400 is 400 more than most people I imagine! A lot of people leave it really last minute, so well done you!

I've got one more story I want to finish for the FFFFA, but it just hasn't worked out the way I hoped, so I'm not going to finish it time. But late is still fine, thankfully, for both our things!

I did a really last minute pinch hit in something under two days once, but I wouldn't recommend it! So nine hours... no! *g*

I'd like to run another FFFFA next year - I managed to keep it fairly low maintenance this year (mostly by resisting the temptation to leave reminders to all the people who asked for things but didn't offer anything, and by not doing a masterlist), but it's always good to know there's help available - thanks!

Exactly - I'm pretty easy-going with the challenge, and I know RL can get crazy at any time, but when people ask for a ton of things, but don't even make a single offer, it saddens me. Especially when there've been some really generous people making a ton of stuff for others.
