I don't know if this is the same for anyone else, but the timestamps in the GoogleDocs document you sent us don't seem to correspond to the timestamps on the actual DVDs. Maybe this has something to do with my particular DVD player, but I wonder if anyone else has noticed this?
Hmm, I wonder if this is because the DVDs don't have the "Previously on..." embedded in the episode whereas the avi files do.
When I did mine, I actually didn't use the time stamped files at all. I've been using the avi files with the ripped subtitles since my blu-ray player doesn't connect to my computer. I'll go check this out and see if there's a discrepancy.
Thanks for mentioning this - I hadn't noticed! Anyway, I think godofwine's suggestion to add 00:01:57 to the timestamps for the three affected episodes should do the trick.
Maybe a point to note, but I had to rename the .srt files (the same name format but keeping the en.srt) to work with the copies of the .avi files I have. VLC (I'm on a Mac) for some reason wouldn't let me select a subtitle track.
If you go directly into the Preferences and use the advanced options under "subtitles/OSD" (depending which version you're using) you can just manually set an srt file just for that episode.
