Generation Kill peoples, I have a task for us!

There are subtitles for all the episodes online (minzky has linked the first six here, and I've managed to find the seventh), but, while useful, they're also limited: there are some mistakes, you can't tell who's talking, and dialogue is split into small chunks, irrespective of speaker. The show is in English/Marine (which is a whole other language), an account of the invasion of Iraq in 2003 from the point of view of a platoon of recon Marines. I *highly* recommend it - it's a brilliant show, and for a slash lover like yourself, there is much to enjoy. Email me if you want to see it.

I looked up the show. Sounds interesting. Thank you for the offer, but school just started, and I have a big bang on my plate, too. Sigh. I guess I should stay focussed. You said this thing's on DVD, right? Maybe I'll watch it over winter break.
