You captured the elements I like most about their relationship - take-charge Vala (with flashes of unexpected vulnerability), off-balance Daniel, and added snark.

I love the tease in their relationship, and this captures it perfectly, along with the sense that there really is something deeper between them.

Awwww! I suddenly get this pairing! I love that you remembered Sha're (nobody does!) and also had Jack in there--awesome. And then you went on to say that after the two of them, he needs someone who's playful and Vala-weird...and yes! He does!
