This episode hurt my heart. *sniff* I think this just about sums it up: But oh, the sadness of their lives growing up, they really had nothing apart from each other. The end broke me - here are these two grown men stumbling their way through a 'happy' Christmas best as they know how with the almost nonexistent experience they have at celebrating the holiday. Sam's, "Have a seat. Let's do Christmas...stuff, or whatever," was funny, but so sad, too. Of course, it didn't help that Rosemary Clooney was playing in the background - I nearly start crying on a good day at the sound of her voice (HUGE Rosemary Clooney fan, here.) Great episode, but now I'm so very melancholy! lol

Oh, what with someone mentioning the amulet above, and you reminding me of just how bleak their life has been at times, I'm all sniffly! For days after watching this I had day dreams about giving them the perfect Christmas. *sniff*
