I was actually struck by how intense and bloody this episode was! Seriously awesome. But I think you're also right in that there's a new sort of quietness between the boys, after Sam calling Dean out and seeing through him and Dean dropping the act, I think it's changed how they are with each other, quieter and more real AND MORE IN LOVE OMG DFIHJDOFH OMG <3333333333
