you're not weird, i have a friend who at one point had an entire icon set of algae and bacteria. :)

We have some amazing photos at work, of blood cells and all sorts of parasites and bacteria and so on - I only wish I could use them.

they can be quite pretty, those things! i especially love the blues and greens of some. :))

Unfortunately, the commonest stains we use (Giemsa and Haematoxylin & eosin) are a bright pink, but we do have some cool coloured stains that we use sometimes, and it makes for really pretty slides! They're generally on things like liver tissue though! *g*

I found a frog on our porch a few nights ago. It was the cutest thing ever. I snatched it and dumped it into our little pond. It was so cute.

I have frogs in my garden too, but I don't have a pond - I don't know why they like it so! But in the evening, after it's rained or I've watered the garden, they'll all come out and sit on the path!

Aww, I actually really like the chameleon ones! I used to have a little chameleon, when I was in high school. I named him Crow. *sniffle* I miss him. If I could find a nice pretty picture of a chameleon that wasn't green, could you make me an icon...? :)

There's just something so fascinating about skeletons - maybe the combination of delicacy and strength.
