-features some speculation for "Progeny"-The sun is shining on the day that Chloe's mother is buried. The bright, shining sun stings Chloe's eyes. She thinks that's weird. Most of the funerals she has been to have been in gloomy weather; rain or snow. She can't hide under an umbrella or burrow into a warm coat today. The sun beats down upon her black dress, and Chloe feels like she could melt away
