vegetariansushi mentioned chocolate and coconut muffins the other day, and made me pudding-hungry.

You've made me hungry! And I don't have a single sweet in the house...not even the necessary ingredients to make something. Looks like I'm going to have to make a trip to the store soon.

Awww, at your 'record of shame'. I have a 'folder of shame' -- at least a dozen or more stories that have been started, but never finished, a few of which I even still actually like. :o)

Now I want to go into my kitchen and make you a cake and magically get it across the Atlantic in minutes! Darn, wish I could!

I find it's hard to finish things once they've been sitting around for a while. So even though I've had very little time the last couple of days, I've at least written a paragraph or so on one little thing I'm writing, just to keep the impetus there. Do hope you can manage to finish one or more of your projects one day!

BTW, having you back around on LJ makes me very happy! *hugs you tight and refuses to let you disappear again*

I'm having a b**ch of a time writing, too, hon. This might not make you feel better, but at least now you know you're not alone.

I'm struggling with this one story I've been wanting to write for the longest time. I have no idea what will come out of it, but when (if) I manage to finish a draft, I'd love for you to see it. How's that?

You being unable to write is way worse than me being unable to write - fandom needs your stories!

Please send it whenever you want, at whatever stage it's at, and let me know how I can help.

I've actually got a Sam/Ellen ficlet that will be heading your way soonish, if that's okay. It's nothing much, just me writing and seeing what happens (which turns out to be sex, which took me by surprise, and is slowing me down, as I'm the slowest porn writer ever). But I'd appreciate your input, especially as I'm trying not to be influenced by your Sam/Ellen, which isn't easy as you've written pretty much the definitive versions.

You're writing Sam/Ellen? That's absolutely great, hon! Seriously. I'd love to see more of them, and I can't write them, and I'm so curious about other people's take on them, on who they are together, and what they mean to each other. I'd love to see it. Love, love, love to see it.

I'll send my scraps of a Dean/she to you right now, if you really want to see them. :)

Don't get excited about the Sam/Ellen - it's only a little scrap of a thing that doesn't really go anywhere much. But if feels nice to be writing something. I shall send it as soon as it's finished.

And yes, please do send Dean/she (I'm on my laptop right now, in bed, so if you send it to oxoniensis@gmail.com, that'd be easist).

Yay! I'm so pleased that you posted these. Once we're over the current wave of illness, I'm going to give it a go. This recipe looks far more 'right' to me than the last one I used, so hopefully will be more successful.

Gah, you poor things - hope you get well soon. *snugs*

I actually didn't post the two recipes I originally intended to post. One was the superquick mini puddings I mentioned to you - I can't find an actual recipe, and the way I make them is too vague to post. I'll either have to find the recipe, or make one some time and note the measurements. And the other is the most fabulous cake ever, and I've lost it! It must be around somewhere, but blowed if I can find it.

Last night we all came down with some sort of soul-sucking awfulness. This is a very fussy household at the moment, and I think that I'm going to have to go lie down again once I've sent this.

Twelve to fourteen minutes sounds awful quick to me, so I just figured that's what you m eant! The most fabulous cake ever sounds like something that'd be good to have, but I'm making my ginger cake on a more or less regular basis, so at least we've got that. I do love ginger cake.

Also you. I rather love you. *loves*

Urgh, it's horrid when everyone is ill and you're all sick and cranky. *sends get well vibes*

My fabulous cake is ginger cake with a sticky toffee and dried fruit topping (it normally has nuts on top too, but obviously you wouldn't have those).

*loves you too*
