Well, I can't say much (read: anything) specific about St Ed's, but it's a pretty tough time to get answers from anyone in my experience. Term won't start again until the 23rd and a lot of people go MIA until about a week before it starts

Thanks for your help. I was hoping for a response sooner rather than later so students on the waitlist could get my space at another university, but ah well. I don't think waiting another week and a half or so will make that much of a difference.

I was actually offered a place provided that my preferred schedule of courses somewhat fits the schedule the tutors made for other students. I don't know, then, if it's still a long shot as I'm not terribly hip to the inner workings of the tutor system.
