Yet another American student
Hi everyone! My name is Zoe, second year undergrad at the University of California, Berkeley. I, like so many of my stateside bretheren, have applied to study at Oxford for the 07-08 school year. I have been sorta kinda given a place at St Edmund Hall, barring scheduling conflicts with the courses I am interested in. Yet, I have been in this sorta kinda place for about two weeks, and, as the pirates say, "it's drivin' me nuts."*
Sooo...who should I contact to find out if I am actually accepted for the year? I've been emailing back and forth with Melanie Hawkes for some time, but now she's on vacation and won't be back until mid-April. Are there any other administrators or staff around who would be available to answer my questions? Should I email the tutors directly (a daunting prospect)? Oh, ye wise Oxonians, what should I do?
