Sometimes it isn't so much the value of the gift that's important, but the faith with which it is given.

My grandma went for her first chemotherapy treatment yesterday. Sometime during the doctor visit they did bloodwork, etc again. There are now some unverified "shadowy" spots in her bones, and her social worker dropped me a bomb her cancer was diagnosed as Stage IV. Why didn't she just tell me herself? I not only achieved my goal of 130 lbs., but i'm almost to 135. Gonna try for 140 now ^_^
