on the road again

yesterday was a successful if slightly absurd daytrip to philly, on extremely short notice... i flew in at 9:30am, sat in the airport for 2 hours, was picked up by a coworker for lunch, went to a 1pm meeting, and had to leave at 2:15 to catch my flight out (vagaries of a last-minute meeting bump from 11am to 1pm). which would have been fine

You'll be fine. I wish I liked more smoothies, but I don't like bananas and too many places use bananas as the main content of a smoothie that I don't go looking much anymore.

She doesn't fly through Philly all that often so I don't have much to report on that front. As for USAir, yes, she pontificates often about their incompetence. Of course, she pontificates about the incompetence of all airlines but flies USAir more often than the others so has more to say about them. The merger between USAir and America West has been a big problem since it's been many months since the merger, and as far as I know, they still don't have the two processes and databases integrated. Major hassles ensue if you cross the streams that should be the same stream but aren't, yet.
