our company does an annual "focal review" process. affectionately (or not) known, around here, as the "fecal review."
as usual, i put my self-assessment off until the absolute last minute. last year that tactic worked so well that i never got around to doing it at all, and my then-manager - who also thinks this process is crap - just made shit

also, i don't know exceed, but we use peoplesoft, and - as such things go - it doesn't suck much.

I swear to Bob, I'm like one of two actually really smart people in my office.
The managers are all old mail carriers (literally) who stumbled into their jobs.
Except the manager. He used to be a cop, so I try not to piss him off as much.
