Flat Stanley Visits The Bay Area

Mar 01, 2009 23:39

My cousin's son and his class are doing the Flat Stanley project, and so Flat Stanley has been visiting me in the Bay Area for the past few weeks.

He's on his way home now, but I thought you all would like to see what exciting adventures he had while he was here.

My cousin had a Flat Stanley project a few years and ago and my mom, who lives in the Bay area, went similarly very hard core to get him all sorts of great sights as well. He was the belle of his Florida school, I predict similar accolades for you!

Flat Stanley looks like he had a great visit!

It also reminds me of the great collection of pictures that I have of woolyRyan's various adventures. : )

This reminds me that I hosted a Flat Stanley a few years ago...I think it was for fifimom's daughter?

Loved your Travelogue. The Presidio was one of my fav spots, Fort Point in particular b/c we found it quite by accident on a family vacation years ago (I'm prolly repeating myself here)

What I did not know was about the buffalo---proving the adage that you can learn something new each day!

I've heard of the Flat Stanley projects. What fun. and I bet your nephew will have the best travelogue to offer. I'm curious where else Flat Stanley has been. The teacher should create a website.

I did not know that about the bridge paint - Flat Stanley has taught me a few things today!
