Flat Stanley Visits The Bay Area

My cousin's son and his class are doing the Flat Stanley project, and so Flat Stanley has been visiting me in the Bay Area for the past few weeks.

He's on his way home now, but I thought you all would like to see what exciting adventures he had while he was here.

Look out world, Flat Stanley is invading... I've seen "him" many places lately while out and about and have had a number of people bring him to work and the gym as well. (He should be scared straight by now so he'll stay on the straight and narrow during his travels, understand the desperate state of healthcare in the U.S., and ought to realize that he's a sad physical specimen in need of some... strength training and bulking up. Hee.)

I've hosted him a few times in the past couple of months, most recently for my nephew. That one definitely made the rounds and had way too many souvenirs to take back with him.

At this rate, Flat Stanley might be approached by the Republicans in 2012.

These are great! My friend is teaching English in Kazakhstan and one of his students sent us his own version of Flat Stanley. It came just in time for me to take when I went to DC this past weekend. We were calling him KazakhStanley.
