The strive for space and its cost

25 years ago today, A young me sat in a classroom with 8 others and a teacher, at 5:30 in the morning, watching live the first teacher to get to go to space...and we watched as that same 7 people gave their lives. I can remember the tears and the horror, as 7 lives were taken, in the strive to push the human race to new levels

I remember that day all too well also, it sure doesn't seem like 25 years ago though :(
