Somebody had a terrible accident today while tinkering with a Potion.

She is hiding in a booth, hoping that she can reverse it before anyone finds out about it.

Somehow, this seems unlikely.

"Accident or prank?"

Sara has the twins with her today, in separate baby carriers. Laura isn't anywhere in sight.

Hey, at least they'll be too young to remember?

Sirius looks up at her, surprised.

"Accident. How did you know?"

"Educated guess, considering how miserable you're looking." Trained observer, you know.

"Oh. Then you don't know who it is?" Sirius grins, wryly. "Hullo, Sara. 'S Sirius."

Pepper is sitting at a table not too far from the booth with another red-haired woman, who gets up and leaves with a cheerful nod and wave to Pepper.

She looks around, eyes settling on Sirius for a moment before going back to the paperwork in front of her.

Sirius, flipping through the book in front of him, sighs and runs his hands over his face.

"Bloody hell, Black," he says to himself, disgusted. "It's just Potions. Figure it out before your mates start giving you Hell over it."

Now that catches Pepper's ear. Looking over, she raises an eyebrow, then stands, bringing her papers and Blackberry with her. "What happened and how can I help?" Yes, she really is that practical. Working for a not-quite-superhero has its advantages.

Sirius looks up, blinking.

".....hullo, Pepper."

Long pause.

"It's Sirius." He raises a hand, waggling his fingers at her. "Little accident."
