Somebody had a terrible accident today while tinkering with a Potion.

She is hiding in a booth, hoping that she can reverse it before anyone finds out about it.

Somehow, this seems unlikely.

"Accident or prank?"

Sara has the twins with her today, in separate baby carriers. Laura isn't anywhere in sight.

Hey, at least they'll be too young to remember?

Sirius looks up at her, surprised.

"Accident. How did you know?"

[lvpd_sidle]

"Educated guess, considering how miserable you're looking." Trained observer, you know.

[scorching_black]

"Oh. Then you don't know who it is?" Sirius grins, wryly. "Hullo, Sara. 'S Sirius."

[lvpd_sidle]

"Hey, Sirius. Need to go bra shopping?"

Hey, her sympathy can only stretch so far, you know?

Sirius drops his head on the table and says something about Lily.

Possibly he's already had this conversation.

"I'm sure this'll be fixed," she says then, patting his shoulder, before picking up both baby carriers and putting them on the table. She then takes a seat.

"Say hi to Angie and Roger."

Babies make everything better!

"Hey, kids," Sirius coos, smiling down at the babies. "Aunt Sirius has presents for you."

At least he still has his sense of humor.

"Nothing nightmare inducing for the parents, I trust." She trusts him. Mostly.

"I think you'll be fine."

Sirius unshrinks a nursery mobile that's been in his pocket; dangling from it are butterflies, a deer, rabbits, and a few birds.

Sirius strokes his wand along the top part of the mobile; it shivers slightly, and then starts moving. The birds sing and flap their wings, the butterflies flutter, the deer cocks its head and runs as if on an invisible trail, and the rabbits pounce on each other, cavorting happily.

Angie coos for a second. Roger's eyes open wide.

Sara kisses the top of Sirius's head. "Thanks."

"Of course. Protective spells woven into it, naturally," Sirius says, kissing her cheek. "Gotta take care of my niece and nephew, don't I?"

He has totally staked a claim on her family. It's a thing.

It's a welcome thing. Families of choice are beautiful.

"Absolutely. Though I'd suggest leaving the creative cursing for their Uncle Murphy, otherwise his heart might be broken." Sara is nothing but practical when it comes to the odds of her negating all 'interesting' influences on her family.

"I'll be sure to keep that in mind. How are you, Sara? Seems like it's been a while since we talked."

[lvpd_sidle]

"I'm fine. These two are keeping me busy." There's nothing but absolute love in her voice. "And you?"

"Pretty busy myself, though obviously for different reasons." Sirius grins wryly. "You love being a Mum, though, right?"
