Multi-pup post! Strange Pairings!

So, here we go: In one corner, Roger Davis and Peter Simons are pouring over a baby-name book, laughing hysterically at every third name. The brownies on the table might have something to do with that.

At another table, Valentine Wiggin-Skywalker is teaching Pepper Potts how to read and understand Aurebesh. Who knows when she might need to know ( Read more... )

And there is a presently-human-shaped computer on a couch, still attempting to make sense of one of his Christmas presents.
(But by now, there are bookmarks.)

After a moment, another blonde-ish pudgy man walks over and stares at his reading material. "Chaucer? Why in heaven are you reading that of all things?"

".....I believe you have the wrong person," Jarvis says, after a few moments. He certainly doesn't know anyone named Chaucer.
(He thinks he's encountered the name online somewhere, but that's about it.)

"Oh, dear. I do apologise. You look like someone I knew a while back." Aziraphale sighs, a bit flustered. "Then again, if I really thought about it, he probably would be reading that book."

By now, Sara knows to look up when she comes in the Inn.

Laura's sleeping in her carrier, and Sara looks tired, but content. "Hey."

[ooc: Probably won't be on long tonight. Exhausted. *snuggleloves*]

Mark turns his camera downward and grins, leaning forward on the rafter. "Hey. How're my girls?"

"Wondering why you won't stay on the ground like a sensible person?"

"Well, I thought this was a good angle. There's a lot going on today, and, well, it's almost like a split screen, if I fil through this one rafter..." He pauses. "And, well, did you ever expect me to be sensible?"

After who knew how long in the inn, Luke Skywalker walked in the door of the inn.

After a quick glance around to establish that he wasn't on Coruscant as he had expected, he spotted Valentine. Then he strode over to where she was sitting with Pepper Potts. and kissed her.

"Hello, Val," he said, smiling. "Wasn't expecting see you here. But then, I wasn't expecting to be here."

Valentine beams at her husband, kissing back. "I wasn't either, frankly, but you know how these places go." She pauses, then remembers her manners. "Oh! Pepper, this is my husband Luke. Luke, this is Pepper Potts. She works for a weapons manufacturer in her world as a personal assistant. I've been teaching her how to read Aurebesh."

Pepper smiles. "It's... really nice to meet you, Luke." It's probably a good thing she's used to meeting all sorts of people.

Luke smiles and bows a bit awkwardly. "Pleasure to meet you." He pauses. "Is it Miss, Ms., Missus, Doctor, or Lady Potts?"

He doesn't suppose that she's a Jedi...but then again, it can be dangerous to jump to conclusions."

Pepper laughs. "It's just Miss, but please, call me Pepper. You're certainly not trying to be all professional with me." She smiles rather largely.

Valentine laughs. "You can probably tell that we get along rather well."

There's a loud bang as the door flies open, sending a rather odd bunch tumbling into the building. First comes a walking carpet, or what appears to be such, followed by a giant chest that has...well over one hundred feet. These go careening around the lobby a few ties before flying out the back door. Next comes a giant, russet ape dragging a bunch of bananas, a tiny cowled figure snickering on its shoulder. They're followed by a young woman with pink hair, who flips in backwards before skidding to a halt halfway across the room, another young woman with bushy brown hair clad in flowing robes laughing at her, or perhaps with her as both are grinning. Lastly, a rather disheveled looking man in his mid to late twenties in combat gear, glasses askew and nose jammed into a book.

"Oh, brilliant. We haven't been here in ages!" Hermione looks around the room, waving at everyone who's already there, whether she knows them or not. The Inn's the one place where she can lower her guard after all.

Sakura just snickers and thinks up some tea before catching sight of Mark up in the rafters. "How's the view from up there?"

Daniel's still oblivious to everything.
