Mark is up to his ears in papers. Casting calls went out, and Mark is seeing Quinn's favourites for various parts. He would never mind distractions from either his wife or his best friend.

"Hey, man." Said best friend is glad to provide a distraction. Mark's wife will notice in a minute and be over.

"Hey!" Mark looks up from his papers with a rather relieved face. "I don't mind crossdressers, but I swear, if I see one more guy trying to be Cheery, I'm going to shoot myself."

"What a tragic life you lead," he says dryly. "Want a second opinion or do you just need to bitch?"

Probably both, knowing Mark. Friends are clever like that.

"Sara."

There is Danny, looking very serious, standing near her.

"We need to talk. About the case."

"What've you found?"

[nypd_messer]

"Fingerprints."

Danny sits next to her with a little sigh.

"And I need you to tell me who I can trust with them, because it's big, Sara."

[lvpd_sidle]

"David Hodges is the one you can trust with any trace evidence. Archie would be for tech....fingerprints would go to Wendy." Immediate. "Where'd you find the prints?"

[charminglioness]

"Hullo, James."

"Plotting somebody's prank-induced doom, or doing schoolwork?"

[firstpotter]

Fortunately -- or unfortunately -- James has been working long enough that his brain has metaphorically dribbled out of his ears. He's rather tired, and will mentally gawk later.

"Hullo, Lily. It's mostly school work, but Padfoot has me working on a side project for a friend of his." There are many factors to account for when using magic safely on Muggles for more than two or three charms.

"Oh, you're helping Sara? Yes, he's consulted with me as well. Charms, you know."
