But whether she'll notice she's got company right away? That's a matter for debate, seeing as how Teppic's having another go at climbing the building.
And it's a little more tricky than it was last time he tried.

Harry walks into the Inn and notices his mother and godfather rather quickly.

He's glad to see them.

Very glad to see the Inn as things at Hogwarts just get worse.

He manages a smile for them. "Hey."

And there is hugging back.

It's easier to smile after the hugs.

He sits. "How are you? ... both of you?"

"Just fine, dear. And you?" Lily smooths down his hair, fairly uselessly. "Is school any better?"

Here, Lily (and Sirius, in this case!) have a Kitty.

A Kitty who has just incidentally fallen through the ceiling and nearly the very table they're working at.

Standing quickly, without really taking complete notice of who they are, she murmurs many quick, frantic apologies, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mess anything up, did I?"

And when she notices it's Lily? Well, there might be a hug or two just because.

"Not at all, Kitty, dear!"

There are return hugs, from Lily.

"Sirius, this is Kitty. Harry's girlfriend, remember I told you about her? Kitty, this is Sirius Black."

"Charmed, my dear!" There is kissing of Kitty's hand, because Sirius is That Way.

Kitty blushes lightly at Lily's words and even the kiss to her hand, but she nods.

"I've heard many nice things about you, Mr.Black." Because, well, she feels she needs to have some sort of formality, anyway. "But it is nice to finally meet you."

Big smile.

"Call me Sirius, please. 'Mr. Black' is my father, and the less I have in common with him, the better."

Lily gives Sirius a sympathetic look, then turns back to Kitty. "Are you all right, Kitty? Falling through things doesn't hurt you, does it?"
