Harry walks into the Inn and notices his mother and godfather rather quickly.

He's glad to see them.

Very glad to see the Inn as things at Hogwarts just get worse.

He manages a smile for them. "Hey."

And there is hugging back.

It's easier to smile after the hugs.

He sits. "How are you? ... both of you?"

"Just fine, dear. And you?" Lily smooths down his hair, fairly uselessly. "Is school any better?"

"Not exactly. But it could... still be worse."

Harry shrugs a little. "It's nearly over now anyway."

Quite the contrary, it's only just beginning, but he doesn't know that.

"What were you two talking about?"

"The same thing we always talk about these days."

Lily eyes him.

"What's been going on, Harry?"

"Ah. Voldemort and the like. It's all we ever really talk about, too." Harry shrugs a little, quiet. "Taking private lessons with Snape to try and protect my mind from Voldemort. Apparently we're... connected. Saw through his eyes.. him hurting Ron's dad in a dream and it was real. It really happened."

"It's okay, Mum. I'm all right. Just makes everything more complicated s'all."

"I'm going to worry about you anyway."

"I know. It's just... you have your own Voldemort to worry about. Without having to consider the one from my world and what it might be doing to me." Harry looks between the two of them. "How's that going, anyway? Any big plans or... ideas?"

"A few. And we've got help from here, just as you have."

Lily smiles at him, fondly. "We'll take care of it. I won't tell you not to worry, but....we'll take care of it."
