It's a curse, you know - living in 'interesting times'...

Ever since the Music left the Inn, Alexander Molokov has all but disappeared from sight. He hasn't left - that door remains steadfastly shut despite all his efforts - he's just been Elsewhere, Away From People ( Read more... )

Walter's not feeling so well himself. It's been a long week or so. And after he swore he'd never be anyone's manager ever again...

The way things have been lately, since all the insanity went away, he feels tired, and empty, and not at all wanting to talk to people. However, he can't stay in his room, for his own sanity's sake, and he's hardly in there much at all these days, except on the rare occasions he's not spending the night in Sascha's room.

At the moment, he's sitting in a booth, a cup of coffee in front of him, his head resting on arms folded on the table. Don't mind him. He's fine. Really.

Molokov stops when he sees Walter. He looks tired and beat-down which worries him greatly. He could no more pass by without talking to him than Anatoly or the damned American could turn down a game of chess.

He slides into the booth, across from Walter, lightly brushing the other agent's hair as he does so. "Walter."

Walter jumps a little, startled by the touch and the voice, one hand starting for his gun. He relaxes when he realizes who it is, casually moving his hand away from the gun.

"Sorry. I'm a little..."

Jumpy is the word you're looking for, Walter. On edge. Over-stressed. Something of the sort.

"I should have known better." Molokov says, rather stiffly. He's angry at himself for making such an amateur mistake. This place is getting to him, which is completely unacceptable.

"I understand."

When in doubt, talk to a sisterlet thing. They tend to be good listeners, if nothing else.

So. If Molokov happens to notice the blonde girl poking at a mobile phone... he can feel free to unload.

He sees the sisterlet thing and manages a smile for her. "Hello, Rose."

Rose looks up, sees him, and smiles. "Hullo!"

And then, then, she notices that he's only just managing to smile. Have a serious face, Sascha. "What's wrong?"
