What was that about shoes?

Here, Inn, have one Grace Holloway. She's smiling so wide and, if anything, she comes in practically glowing. Her eyes are closed and she takes a deep breath. She had met a wonderful man, they were walking through a park and oh, he kissed her!

When she opens her eyes, they widen.

This... this is certainly not the park ( Read more... )

The Master looks up as she walks in. He'd been sitting in the lobby, trying to fix his laser screwdriver, since it seems, annoyingly, to be malfunctioning.

Little does he know, it's just that Jane doesn't want him to use it that's making it malfunction, that if he were able to leave the Inn it would work perfectly fine.

The Doctor's name gets his attention, though. There's a certain tone people use when they're not just talking about a Doctor but the Doctor. This woman is using it.

He sees her, and his eyes widen momentarily. Well, if it isn't Grace Holloway. It's been a while since he's seen her. A long while, and several regenerations. "He's not available. He's... indisposed." Or was the last time the Master saw him.

"Indisposed?" Grace is merely confused even more and she even dares to approach the man who spoke to her. If he knew something about the Doctor, then surely he could help her.

"I was just with him, how is that possible?" Really, she seems more frustrated than anything. This day was just going to be one of those days.

The Master twirls his laser screwdriver in his fingers, eying the woman. She looks just as he remembers her, the bitch.

"Oh, he's capable than a great deal more than you could imagine." She seems so confused... She's probably from very early on, then. The thought amuses him. There are so many things he could do, catching her like this, all unaware. The Inn limits his options more than he'd like, but still...

What more could be so fascinating about the Doctor, as he called himself? Sure, he had two hearts and was from a place (Galli...something or another) that she had never heard of, and...

The fact he knew so much about her, having not even met her once before.

"And how is it that you know that, hm?" She's just not happy right now, so don't mind her.

Here Grace, have the other Saxton!

Lucy is lounging around on one of the couches, a glass of one ine one hand. She raises an eyebrow as the woman enters and is sitting up as soon as she hears the word 'Doctor'.

"Excuse me," she says, getting up and approaching the other. "Are you all right? You look a bit distressed."

Grace looks up at the voice and is relieved to see someone that looks at least slightly friendly.

"Oh...well, I seem to be a little lost, is all." A little, Grace? Be honest. "I was just..."

Peculiar.

"You're not lost, dear," she assures with an almost condescending smile. "You're in the Inn."

"Come, sit down and I'll explain everything." She starts back towards the couch she'd been sitting in before Grace had arrived.

"The Inn?" Grace questions. Thankfully for Lucy, Grace is too confused and disoriented that she doesn't notice the not-so-welcome smile.

Following the woman to the couch, she takes a seat, looking around, uncertainly.

((OOC: INTERNAL SQUEEING!!!!!!))

Martha has been hanging around the Inn, comfortably, after being assured that no time would pass while they were here. It's nice to just... relax, but she'll be itching for adventure soon enough, she's sure.

"Did you just say Doctor as in the Doctor or doctor as in... just doctor?" Martha tilts her head to the side and bites down on her lip as she realizes how this would sound to well, normal people. "Sorry if that question seems... odd."

Grace was beginning to attain something of a headache from all of this. She had just moments ago been standing with the Doctor and this place...

Her gaze shifts up to the woman, "No, no it's not odd." Although it really should be, "the Doctor, yes. I was just with him and then... this. I... has he been here? Wherever, here is, of course."

"Erhm, yes. He was... is. I thought, but apparently there are different versions of him." Martha sighs, more than a little exasperated from all of this, herself.

She gestures toward the chair next to her. "Here. Why don't you take a seat? We're in the Inn. You're all right here. You can stay as long as you'd like too. It's really rather nice if you ask me."

Grace would almost think Martha was crazy if she hadn't killed the Doctor once and have him return as someone new the next day. "How many are there?" She asks, perplexed.

Taking the seat next to the woman, she lets out a deep sigh.
