Here, Inn, have one Grace Holloway. She's smiling so wide and, if anything, she comes in practically glowing. Her eyes are closed and she takes a deep breath. She had met a wonderful man, they were walking through a park and oh, he kissed her!
When she opens her eyes, they widen.
This... this is certainly not the park

Martha has been hanging around the Inn, comfortably, after being assured that no time would pass while they were here. It's nice to just... relax, but she'll be itching for adventure soon enough, she's sure.
"Did you just say Doctor as in the Doctor or doctor as in... just doctor?" Martha tilts her head to the side and bites down on her lip as she realizes how this would sound to well, normal people. "Sorry if that question seems... odd."

Her gaze shifts up to the woman, "No, no it's not odd." Although it really should be, "the Doctor, yes. I was just with him and then... this. I... has he been here? Wherever, here is, of course."

She gestures toward the chair next to her. "Here. Why don't you take a seat? We're in the Inn. You're all right here. You can stay as long as you'd like too. It's really rather nice if you ask me."

Taking the seat next to the woman, she lets out a deep sigh.

Martha smiles at the sigh. She understands and is quite familiar with that sigh. "Havin' a rough time of it then? Are you another one of his companions? I think I've met more of them than I... ever expected. It's like we're just strays, he likes to pick up, take with him for a while."

Those two hearts still baffled her.
"I would suppose so, I haven't known him very long." But... "That is what it feels like. My Doctor just followed me because he needed to know who he was and it went from there."
There's a hint of a smile to her lips.

"Look at us, both of us, saying 'My Doctor...' and all that. Blimey, he's the same and he's different all at once! He can be yours and mine and someone else's all together, but we're not really sharing him and he doesn't really belong to us it's just..." She shakes her head. "It's... crazy. And a bit wonderful, too."

"It's very strange how it all works out." She runs a hand back through her hair, "He lost me my job, and I ran around with him, trying to figure out who he was and here I am now. And really," She muses, "I'm perfectly okay with that."

There's slight hesitation at mention of her job, "I was a practicing cardiologist."
Reply
"I'm a med student! A few years in. I was working at the hospital when the Doctor found me and then the whole building got zapped up to the moon."
Reply
"To the moon, you say? Wow..." And she thought her circumstances were terrible.

She nods. "Intergalactic police were looking for a non-human fugitive. A blood... plasma shape shifter. Of course, being on the moon we run out of oxygen pretty fast. It was a close call, but... I owe the Doctor my life. And he owes me his too, I suppose." She laughs. "Well, one of them, anyway."

Grace realizes, though, that Martha might not be from her Earth at all. "Oh," She's a little surprised, but nods either way. Her head is spinning well enough as it is.
Reply
She hesitates and then leans forward. "What does your Doctor look like?"
Martha had never seen any other than her own.
