Kitty really, really needs to learn to watch where she is going. Even when she is pumped full of tylenol and cold medicine. She had gone to the library to retrieve some books to read near the fire as she kept warm.

However, it was her luck that she passes through a wall on the side and nearly stumbles into the newcomer, her books falling to the ground.

"Oh, I...I am so sorry." There's a sheepish smile and begins to pick up her books quickly: Black Holes, Astronomy, Time Travel... oh goodness no, this couldn't be the Doctor's doing, no!

As ever, when the Master doesn't know what's going on, he defaults to friendly and charming. It helps quite a bit, he's found - after all, it got him to being prime minister in his own world...

"Oh, it's not a problem at all." He bends to help her pick up her books - noting, as he does, that it doesn't hurt at all. Amazing, that, right after he's been shot.

"Are you alright?" After all, she seems to be sniffling and so on... As he picks up the books, he glances at the covers of a few of them. Hmm.

Kitty's thankful that she hasn't angered the man. Or, if she has, she certainly can't tell.

"I'm fine, I'm really quite clumsy, cold medicine doesn't help it much either, I'm afraid." Though she's so glad JD helped her. When she has some of her books back in her posession, she holds them close, smiling.

"I haven't seen you around here before, are you new?" Even when ill, her energy is endless.

"Ah, yes." He smiles right back at her, to all appearances completely guileless and genuine. "Where is here, by the way?"

It's all bright and cozy and... very unlike any place on the Valiant, or anywhere in London... or anywhere on the TARDIS, for that matter. Very strange place to find yourself after being shot - even the Master, insane as he is, realizes that's not normal.
