It's the first time something like this has happened in the Inn, and Jane has decided to oblige April's few desires by temporarily changing the season from winter to spring. It's warm, but not too warm, not muddy, there's green and flowers everywhere ( Read more... )

She smiles. "So, now that we know each other, would you like to come to my wedding? It's starting any minute."

Logan would facepalm if he did that sort of thing, but instead he just stares at her a second longer, as if he's trying to judge the meaning behind all of this... if she's really being... real.

And then he smiles a little.

"Sure."

April's smile widens into a full-out beam. "Great! You can... mingle, if you want to. Or stay here. Whatever suits you."

"Congratulations." He says and then leans as inconspicuously as possible against the tree.

Don't ask George what she's doing here, she's got no clue whatsoever. Doesn't know who these people are, doesn't know why everyone's out here, just knows that there's nothing to do and there's a crowd, which usually means there's something interesting going on.

And ha! There's a Logan to pester, she'll definitely enjoy this.

Logan stiffens, slightly.

He's begging the animal-rage inside of him to not remember what it's like for his soul to be outside of his body and how much he hated it and...

"You don't want to know." He folds his arms over his strong chest. "You look... sober."

She snots, "Well y7ou definitely know how to compliment a lady, don't you"

She leans up against the tree and mutters something that might have sounded similar to 'sorry for riping your soul out I probably won't do it again' but you can't really be sure.

Logan raises an eyebrow at her.

"I beheaded a deer."

Well, she said she wanted to know.

Thankfully, Logan has awesome senses so he understood her. He simply shrugs. "You were drinking and not in a good mood. I get it. 'm just not the best guy to try that out on."

"...You did what?" She moves to try and give him a quick swack to the back of the head. "Why the hell did you go after a deer?! It never did anything to you! You should have beat up a couch or something! Ask Jane to make it move and then you'd even get to chase it!"

Yes, deep down in that moody exterior there is an animal lover in George and one that strongly disapproves of beheading deer.

She sighs, crossing her arms over her chest. "I'm never in 'good' moods," she points out. "Only more socially acceptable ones but thanks."

Logan moves out of the way before she can touch him. Super sense + super reflexes = most people are not going to be able to touch him if he doesn't want them to.

"I didn't want to. I had to."

He can't describe it. The animal-rage within him that requires a kill to satisfy. He doesn't like it. It's just what he has to deal with.

"I'll keep that in mind."

Vida is here, of course. She's finished decorating the Inn for the reception.

She looks fabulous, of course.

If she looks wistful, that can only be expected. But she truly is happy for April and JD.

Don't mind that he sounds tired and only half-hearted in his compliment. He thinks she looks amazing. There's just only so much enthusiasm his body (and mind) can handle right now, and he's saving that for the reception.

Oh Lord, you look terrible is the first thought that comes to mind, though she tries to keep it from her face. "I don't think I've had the pleasure of speaking with you before," she says congenially. "My name is Vida."
