I went on a blind date earlier, I suppose. It was someone from a dating site. I've met a couple girls off of them, and basically nothing ever happened. I had talked to this woman for a couple weeks on the site, and then some texting. She no-showed. Didn't reply to me the day of or day before. Not sure what happened, and I doubt I will learn. She

It's unfortunate that she stood you up, but I don't want you to think that has anything to do with her. She was downright horrible to stand you up knowingly, and purposely not respond to your texts for even the day beforehand. If she was going to cancel, or if she had a change of heart, she should have informed you that she was busy or something came up. But the fact that she just simply was a no-show is a poor reflection on -her-, not on you. I encourage you to not give up. Maybe take a different approach next time. I can tell one method that worked with me, when I had responded to someone on OkCupid, and asked a few questions, and he told me instead of writing the answers, he'd like to tell me over a drink. So somehow, the day after I even met him online, we met up over at a coffee place and ended up walking around the farmer's market together
