If you read my journal, then I hope you had a good holiday and got to spend it with the ones you love and appreciate.

me and mine went to a friend's house for the annual potluck. It was nice. I tried to make my grandmother's brocoli casserole though, and that did not turn out too well.

I hear you! My Turkey Day experience was very similar to yours--good food, good friends, good moods, no drama. I think it's probably the best I've ever had. Everyone was pitching in and helping, everything went smoothly, and dinner was even ready *early*! No arguing, no snide comments, no unwanted pointers on how something *should* be fixed...and it was probably the most delicious T-day dinner ever. Then, we all relaxed with wine (cranberry juice for the little one) and played games for hours...::happy sigh:: It was pretty much what I've always wanted in a holiday. ::hugs:: Happy Thanksgiving--I'm so glad you had a great one!

I like relaxing holidays - and knowing that some family traditions don't have to be continued :)
