The University of Edinburgh and National Museums of Scotland are offering a free, 3-week MOOC (Massive Open-access Online Course) on the legacy of the Jacobites. Part of the course will look at the cultural impact of the Jacobites, including the Outlander series.

This would be interesting; I love history. I coudn't find anything about the cost of the course. I can't imagine that it's free.

It is free. There's an option to upgrade for $79 that gives you a certificate and some other options, but the course itself is free. It says that on the course website, right below the pic.

That would be amazing. And to do anything with the University of Edinburgh would be awesome. My Great Grandfather graduated from UE and I've always wanted to walk the campus where he did.
