I recently learned that Richard ("Roger Wakefield" Rankin will be joining the cast of The Last Kingdom for season 2 of that series, which is expected to air sometime later this year. Try the first novel in the series -- they're fun reads and might make it easier to get into the show (not that I found it difficult -- I really like the series).

Oh good. I loved that show and wasn't aware that it had been renewed. I'm sure Richard will be great...aS he is in everything he does.

I really like that show. If only the protagonist wasn't so massively frustratingly dumb. I do a lot of intrigued rage-watching.

From what I've heard about that show I'm a bit surprised to hear they got a second season. Haven't watched it myself. Might have to give it a chance now.
